Building/Grounds Maintenance Worker
Full Time Position: Opportunities for general labor personnel to work at either our Southland Mall (Portage, MI) or WestMain Mall (Kalamazoo, MI) locations to perform general maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of the properties.

Education/Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Valid Michigan drivers license with good driving record
- Previous experience in property maintenance a plus but not required; we will train you to use required equipment to perform job duties
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks
Position Responsibilities
- Pick up trash/litter
- Landscaping (mowing, raking, leaf blowing, laying mulch, weeding, watering)
- Snow removal (shoveling/snow blowing sidewalks & common areas)
- Perform general repairs which do not require specialized skills (minor building repairs, painting, and light fixture replacement)
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems
- Clean and assist with the upkeep of buildings and maintenance equipment
- Limited communication with tenants regarding property related issues
- Assists with outside vendors to facilitate trash removal, maintenance, landscaping, security and other services
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Work Hours & Benefits
- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Some limited weekend work required with paid overtime
