Shannon Orr joined the company in the fall of 2017 and is the Vice President of Design and Project Development. Prior to joining Meyer C. Weiner, Shannon was a design engineer for 16 years with Continental Designs in Portage, Michigan. Shannon has a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master's in Construction Management from Western Michigan University.
Shannon's prior experience with architectural design and project management in commercial construction has led to her joining the team. Shannon is responsible for the creation of building designs, site plan approvals and construction management of the company's development projects. She is also responsible for maintaining good relationships with the municipalities for future and current projects. Shannon and her husband, Scott have one child. She enjoys volunteering, reading, outdoor activities and watching her son play in all sports, including baseball and indoor soccer. |
